01 / A better fit for your business

Web design in Lancashire.
A little more personal.

Your website should feel like your business on its best day.

I’m JP, an independent web and graphic designer based in Lancashire. I work with businesses locally and across the UK to turn an outdated website, a new idea or a growing business into a clearer online experience.

You work directly with the person planning, designing and building your site. We start with your customers, what they need to know, and the action you want them to take.

04 / A clear process, together

From “we need a website”
to “that’s us”.

You’ll know what’s happening, what I need from you and where your feedback fits. We agree a realistic schedule around the scope, content and decisions involved.

  1. DIRECTION

    Talk. Plan.
    Get clear.

We discuss your business, audience and goals. If you already have a site, we look at what works and what gets in the way. You receive a proposal with the scope, price and next steps.

  2. DESIGN

    Find the
    right feeling.

We map the content and explore the visual direction. Layouts, typography, imagery and carefully chosen motion give the site its character, with your feedback shaping the design.

  3. DEVELOPMENT

    Bring it
    to life.

I build the agreed design in WordPress or Webflow, add the content and connect the required features. We review the working site across screen sizes and check the details before launch.

  4. LAUNCH & BEYOND

    Go live.
    Keep moving.

We plan the launch and walk through the updates you’ll manage. For an existing website, we consider redirects for changed URLs. Website care and ongoing SEO are available when you need continued support.

05 / A clear starting point

Big on care.
Clear on cost.

Let’s scope your website

A quote around your project.

The starting price is a guide, not a fixed package for every website. Your quote reflects the pages, content, functionality and level of design your business needs.

  • Pages & structure A focused service site or a larger content-led website.
  • Content & creative Existing assets, new copy, imagery or a wider brand refresh.
  • Features & integrations Online selling, bookings or connections to your other tools.

We agree what’s included before work starts. Hosting, domain names, platform subscriptions, paid tools and ongoing support are discussed separately so you can plan the full cost.

06 / Before we begin

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Still working out what you need? That’s a perfectly good place to start.

Ask me about your project
How much does a website cost?

Websites start from £799. The final quote depends on the number of pages, content, design and functionality. Hosting, domains, subscriptions and ongoing support are discussed separately. No VAT is added because I’m not VAT registered.

How long will my website take?

The schedule depends on the size of your site, the features involved and how ready your content is. We agree a realistic timeline before starting, including time for your feedback. If you have a launch date in mind, include it in your enquiry.

Can you redesign my existing website?

Yes. We can look at what to keep, what to improve and whether the current platform is still the right fit. As part of planning, we consider existing content and important URLs so the changeover is handled carefully.

Will my website be optimised for Google?

The build considers on-page SEO foundations such as structure, headings, titles, descriptions and image text. Search visibility also depends on your content, competition and ongoing work. I can discuss a separate SEO plan; no particular ranking is guaranteed.

Will I be able to update it myself?

Yes. We plan the content you need to manage and build an editing setup around it. I’ll walk you through the relevant updates at handover. If you prefer someone to take care of the site, ongoing support is available.

Do I need to supply the text and images?

Bring any existing copy, branding and photography you have. We’ll review what’s useful and identify the gaps. If you need help with copy, imagery or graphic design, we can agree that work in the scope before the project begins.

Can you build an online shop or add bookings?

These can be part of the brief. We’ll discuss your products, booking process, payments and any integrations, then recommend a suitable approach. Features and any third-party costs are agreed in your quote.

Do you only work with Lancashire businesses?

I’m based in Lancashire and work with businesses locally and across the UK. We can plan and review your website remotely, with the same direct contact throughout the project.

What happens after launch?

You’ll have a handover for the agreed editing tasks, and we can discuss ongoing care, technical support or SEO. Website care plans are billed monthly with a six-month minimum commitment; the plan and any additional work are agreed separately.
